Addition & Facelift, Milton

This house was originally constructed as a ranch-style house with a walkout basement and side-entry garage. A previous home owner turned the garage into living space and added a second story to the garage creating an unbalanced facade. The new home owners had somewhat more contemporary tastes and tasked us with adding a new garage with home office and upgrading the facade to feel balanced and more contemporary, all within the City of Milton's design guide. We arrived at a 70's/80's contemporary feeling with a flat-roofed portal frame covered walkway and gabled entryway.

One Project Architecture

The client desired an addition to the front of a 70's contemporary house. After some quick renderings of several options, the client requested their favorite and we completed the design.

The client desired to add a new wood-framed deck to their house. They had a limited budget, so we assisted them in evaluating their options, such as adding a pergola, to arrive at a design that met their budget.

Screened Deck, Duluth, GA

The client desired to replace their existing deck with a screened in deck space that could used throughout more of the year. Their property backed up against a wooded area with heavy amounts of misquitoes.

Attic Addition

It is not often that a client requests a consultation to add an attic bonus room to their house that doesn't involves tearing off the entire roof in order to accommodate the floor loads and more. This client was fortunate enough that their home was designed in such a way that we were able to take advantage of the space. The space will serve as their kid's play room and sleep over space later on. Just down the hall is a space for a parent to sit and read.
