Addition & Facelift, Milton

This house was originally constructed as a ranch-style house with a walkout basement and side-entry garage. A previous home owner turned the garage into living space and added a second story to the garage creating an unbalanced facade. The new home owners had somewhat more contemporary tastes and tasked us with adding a new garage with home office and upgrading the facade to feel balanced and more contemporary, all within the City of Milton's design guide. We arrived at a 70's/80's contemporary feeling with a flat-roofed portal frame covered walkway and gabled entryway.
